(4) The percentage of the total number of
registered voters in the State that are affiliated with
each such political party, such percentage to be carried
out to two or more decimal places. (C)    EACH BOARD SHALL PROVIDE REPORTS OF
REGISTRATION AND OTHER REGISTRATION RELATED ACTIVITY AS
MAY BE REQUIRED BY THE STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF
ELECTION LAWS. (D)        The         [said         statement]         STATEMENTS         of
registration shall be retained in the office of the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws for a period of at
least six years and shall be available for inspection
during normal working hours by any interested person. 3-14. (b) The boards shall retain all old registration
books or forms which have been transcribed onto new forms
under this section for a period of at least [sixty years
before the books or old forms may be destroyed in the
manner provided by law for the destruction of records.]
FIVE YEARS. AT THE EXPIRATION OF THE FIVE-YEAR PERIOD,
THE BOARDS SHALL TRANSFER OLD REGISTRATION BOOKS OR FORMS
EITHER TO THE STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS
FOR DELIVERY TO THE HALL OF RECORDS OR TO A LOCAL
HISTORICAL DEPOSITORY. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
Section 3-14(c) be and it is hereby added to Article 33 —
Election Code, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1976
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) to read as
follows: Article 33 - Election Code 3-14. (C) EACH BOARD SHALL RETAIN CANCELLED REGISTRATION
RECORDS IN ITS OFFICE FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS, OPEN TO
PUBLIC INSPECTION, AND MAY MICROFILM THESE RECORDS AT ANY
TIME. AT THE EXPIRATION OF THE FIVE-YEAR PERIOD, THE
ORIGINAL RECORDS SHALL BE FORWARDED TO THE STATE
ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS FOR DELIVERY TO THE
HALL OF RECORDS. SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
3-25 of Article 33 - Election Code, of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1976 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement)
be and it is hereby repealed: Article 33 — Election Code [3-25. Each board is authorized to microfilm cancelled
