Election Code — Local Boards
FOR the purpose of requiring the local election board
offices to be open during certain hours on the last
day for the filing of a certificate of candidacy
under the primary election law.

(1976 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 2-9(f) be and it is hereby
added to Article 33 — Election Code, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1976 Replacement Volume and 1976
Supplement) to read as follows:
Article 33 - Election Code
2-9.
(F) THE OFFICES OF EACH BOARD SHALL BE OPEN FROM 9
A.M. TO 9 P.M. ON THE MONDAY WHICH IS TEN WEEKS OR 70
DAYS BEFORE THE DAY ON WHICH THE PRIMARY ELECTION IS TO
BE HELD UNDER THE PRIMARY ELECTION LAW LAST DAY FOR THE
FILING OF A CERTIFICATE OF CANDIDACY.
