shall take effect July 1, 1977.

FOR the purpose of altering the permitted percentage of
the total issue of bonds outstanding and unpaid
which relates to improvements in any Charles County
special taxing district to the total value of the
property assessed for Charles County taxation
purposes; and clarifying language.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 783(f) of the Public Local Laws of
Charles County being Article 9 of the Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1969 Edition and 1975 Supplement, as added
by Chapter 149 of the Acts of 1976) be and it is hereby
repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

(f) Authority to issue bonds. For the purpose of
providing funds for the design, construction, erection,
repair, replacement, addition, extension, betterment,
