Corporations — Municipal, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1973 Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be
and it is hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
Article 23A — Corporations - Municipal
17B.
(c) For the purposes of this section, an ordinance
is any legislative enactment (by whatever name known) of
general application and continuing force for the
municipal corporation, other than a public local law
referred to in §[32B] 32A of Article 25 of this Code.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1977.

Preamble
WHEREAS, In the fifth sentence in subsection (d) of
§ 7 in Article 27A, as amended by Chapter 654, Acts of
1976, the semicolon ought to be deleted; now, therefore,
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 7(d) of Article 27A - Public
Defender, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1976
Replacement Volume and 1976 Supplement) be and it is
