(D) TUNNEL.
"TUNNEL" MEANS:
(1) THE BALTIMORE HARBOR TUNNEL; AND
(2) ANY OTHER TUNNEL WITHIN THE JURISDICTION
OF THE MARYLAND TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §1401(17).
Item (2) of this section, which is patterned
after the provisions of subsection (c) of this
section, is added to accommodate the
possibility of future tunnels, without the
necessity of amending this section.
The only other changes are in style.
(E) VEHICULAR CROSSING.
"VEHICULAR CROSSING" MEANS:
(1) EACH TUNNEL AND BRIDGE WITHIN THE
JURISDICTION OF THE MARYLAND TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY;
AND
(2) EACH APPROACH TO THESE TUNNELS AND
BRIDGES.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
derived without substantive change from Art.
66 1/2, §1401(18).

REVISOR'S NOTE TO SECTION: The following
definitions, presently appearing in Art. 66
1/2, §11-1401, are deleted as unnecessary
since the terms defined are covered adequately
by the definitions already appearing in Title
11 of this article:
