(D) PARKING.
A PERSON MAY NOT PARK A VEHICLE, WHETHER OR NOT IT
IS OCCUPIED, OTHER THAN TEMPORARILY FOR THE PURPOSE OF
AND WHILE ACTUALLY ENGAGED IN LOADING OR UNLOADING
PROPERTY OR PASSENGERS:
(1) WITHIN 50 FEET OF THE NEAREST RAIL IN A
RAILROAD GRADE CROSSING;
(2) UNLESS FOR THE USE OF A HANDICAPPED
INDIVIDUAL, IN A SPACE OR ZONE HARKED AS RESTRICTED FOR
THE USE OF HANDICAPPED INDIVIDUALS;
(3) ON ANY PROPERTY OWNED BY THE BOARD OF
EDUCATION OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY OR MONTGOMERY COLLEGE
WHERE PARKING IS PROHIBITED BY AN OFFICIAL SIGN;
(4) ON ANY PROPERTY OWNED BY THE BOARD OF
EDUCATION OF BALTIMORE COUNTY OR THE COMMUNITY COLLEGES
OF BALTIMORE COUNTY WHERE PARKING IS PROHIBITED BY AN
OFFICIAL SIGN; OR
(5) AT ANY OTHER PLACE WHERE PARKING IS
PROHIBITED BY AN OFFICIAL SIGN.
(E) MOVING THE VEHICLE OF ANOTHER INTO A
PROHIBITED AREA.
A PERSON MAY NOT MOVE A VEHICLE THAT HE DOES NOT
LAWFULLY CONTROL:
(1) INTO ANY PROHIBITED AREA; OR
(2) AWAY FROM A CURE FOR AN UNLAWFUL
DISTANCE.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 66 1/2, §11-1003.
Present §11-1003(a)(1)(x) and (xi), which
related specially to the Montgomery and
Baltimore Counties Boards of Education, is
erroneously placed in such a way as to imply
that even, stopping or standing would be
prohibited where the "official sign" merely
prohibits parking. That this result was not
intended is evidenced by the Titles to each of
Ch. 529, Acts of 1972, and Ch. 227, Acts of
1974, which enacted these provisions for the
purpose of "prohibiting parking". The error
is corrected by transferring these provisions
to subsection (d) of this section. However,
