RESOLUTION NO. 43
OF THE TOWN OF EASTON
TO AMEND THE CHARTER
Resolution of the Town of Easton, adopted pursuant to the
authority of Article 11E of the Constitution of
Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1973 Repl. Vol.) title
"CORPORATIONS - MUNICIPAL", sub-title "Home Rule",
sub-heading "Charter Amendments", to amend Section
19 of Article VI of the Charter of the Town of
Easton to provide that, in addition to the authority
to issue general obligation bonds, the Town of
Easton shall have the authority to borrow money and
issue notes (including renewal or refunding notes or
bond anticipation notes) or other evidences of its
obligation, to mature within a period of five (5)
years of the date of issue payable from such sources
of funds as the Town may designate and to sell the
same at public or private sale upon such terms as
the authorizing resolution may provide.
[Section 15, Article VI of the Charter of the Town
of Easton, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

RESOLUTION NO. 44
OF THE TOWN OF EASTON
TO AMEND THE CHARTER
Resolution of the Town of Easton, adopted pursuant to the
authority of Article 11—E of the Constitution of
Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Ed. as amended),
title "Corporations - Municipal", sub—title "Home
Rule", sub-heading "Charter Amendments", to add a
sentence to Article III Section 4 (c) of the Charter
of the Torn of Easton (Article 21 of the Code of
Public Local Lass of Maryland (1930 Edition), as
amended, title "Talbot County", sub—title "Easton"),
to provide that the Mayor shall give at least twenty
(20) days advance written notice of any proposed
appointments which require the consent of the
Council.
[Section 4(c), Article III of the Charter of the
Town of Easton, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.
Effective Date November 25, 1975]
