in the private offices of a licensed dentist; in a
private office or a dental clinic provided by a federal,
State, county, or municipal agency, or in hospitals,
schools, or charitable institutions, or in an industrial
clinic supervised by a licensed dentist, conducted only
for employees of the firm providing the clinic; OR UNDER

THE SUPERVISION OF A LICENSED DENTIST IN A HEALTH

MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATION, CERTIFIED BY THE STATE
INSURANCE COMMISSIONER UNDER ARTICLE 43, SECTION 843, OF
THIS CODE, WHICH PROVIDES DENTAL SERVICES FOR MEMBERS OF
THE ORGANIZATION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Joint Comprehensive Health Planning Agencies
in Federally Designated Health Service Areas

FOR the purpose of allowing two or more counties and the
City of Baltimore whose boundaries coincide with a
region designated as a health service area pursuant
to the Act of Congress entitled "The National Health
Planning and "Resources Development Act of 1974" to
create a joint comprehensive health planning agency
for such region.

Section 871 through 877, inclusive, to be under the

new subtitle "Joint Comprehensive Health

Planning Agencies"

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Sections 871 through 877 be and they
are hereby added to Article 43 — Health, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and 1975
Supplement) to read as follows:
