THE MORGAN STATE UNIVERSITY POLICE WHICH ARE CONSISTENT
WITH THE STANDARDS ESTABLISHED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES.

(D) MEMBERS OF THE MORGAN STATE UNIVERSITY POLICE
SHALL OBSERVE AND COMPLY WITH THESE RULES AND
REGULATIONS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
594B(f) (6) of Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and
1975 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(f) For purposes of this section, the term "police
officer" means any person who, in his official capacity,
is authorized by law to make arrests and who is;

(6) A member of the University of Maryland
police OR MORGAN STATE UNIVERSITY POLICE; or

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Municipal Transportation — Private Ownership

FOR the purpose of exempting privately owned buses used
exclusively in operating the transportation system
of municipalities from certain road taxes, sales
taxes and excise title taxes; [[and]] providing for

the refund of motor fuel taxes paid by them; and

requiring that such buses must be used for the

transportation of the public in regular route

between fixed points.
