SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 1K be and it is hereby added
to Article 43 — Health, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1971 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) to read as
follows:]]

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Chapter 179 - Acts of 1972
Section 5(H)(1)(b)

Chapter 195 - Acts of 1973

Section 5(I)(1)(a), amended by Chapter 406

Chapter 289 - Acts of 1974

(A)         THE SECRETARY MAY GRANT A SUM OF MONEY,
SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND
NOT TO EXCEED $25,000, TO LOCAL NONPROFIT HEALTH CARE AND
RELATED GROUPS FOR RENOVATION OF GROUP HOMES.

(B)          APPROPRIATE PROVISIONS SHALL BE MADE IN THE
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET TO PROVIDE FUNDS TO THE
DEPARTMENT TO ACCOMPLISH THE PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION.]]

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That Section 5(H)(1)(b) of Chapter 179 of the

Acts of 1972; Section 5(I)(1)(a) of Chapter 195 of the

Acts of 1973, as amended by Chapter 406 of the Acts of

1974; and Section 5(H)(1)(a)of Chapter 239 of the Acts

of 1974; and Section 5(D)(4)(a)(1) of Chapter 886 of the

Acts of 1975 be and they are hereby repealed and

reenacted, with amendments, to read as, follows:
