SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Chapters 460, 480, 497, 499, 756, 767, and
793 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1975 be and
they are hereby repealed.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections
2-103, 2-112(b) and (e), 2-118 (a), 3-101, 3-102 (a) and
(d)(2), 3-104, 3-106(1), 4-105 (a) and (g), 5-104, 5-110,
5-203, 6-102(b), 6-106, 6-112(b), 7-102, 7-103(a),
7-106(a), 7-109, 7-118, 8-104 (a), 8-106(j), 8-110,
8-111(b)(2), 8-113, 8-118(d), and 8-120 (a) of Article 66D
— Maryland—National Capital Park and Planning Commission,
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement
Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and they are hereby
repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
Article 66D — Maryland-National Capital Park
and Planning Commission
2-103.
The County Council of Montgomery County may remove
any members from that county prior to the expiration of
the term for which they were appointed. The county
executive of Prince George's County may remove AT HIS
PLEASURE any members from that county prior to the
expiration of the term for which they were appointed,
subject to the approval of the County Council of Prince
George's County by a vote of a majority of the full
Council. In each case, the cause of removal shall be
stated in writing and a public hearing held on the
removal. HOWEVER, IN PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY THE
COMMISSION MEMBER SOUGHT TO BE REMOVED MAY WAIVE IN
WRITING THE PUBLIC HEARING HELD BY THE COUNCIL. FURTHER,
