WHERE REFERENCING "BUSINESS WITH THE STATE" AND "EMPLOYED
BY THE STATE", BE DEEMED TO MEAN "BUSINESS WITH THE
STATE, COMMISSION, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, AND PRINCE GEORGE'S
COUNTY" AND "EMPLOYED BY THE STATE, COMMISSION,
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, AND PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY",
RESPECTIVELY. THIS STATEMENT SHALL BE FILED UNDER OATH
OR AFFIRMATION.
(B) EACH COMMISSIONER OF THE MARYLAND-NATIONAL
CAPITAL PARK AND PLANNING COMMISSION SHALL FILE WITH THE
SECRETARY OF STATE, THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE
COMMISSION, AND THE CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER OF THE
COUNTY FROM WHICH THE COMMISSIONER IS APPOINTED, ON OR
BEFORE THE 15TH DAY OF APRIL OF EACH YEAR DURING THAT
COMMISSIONER'S TERM IN OFFICE, THE STATEMENT SET FORTH IN
SUBSECTION (A) FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR IMMEDIATELY
PRECEDING EACH SUCH YEAR IN OFFICE.
(C) EACH APPLICANT FOR APPOINTMENT AS COMMISSIONER
FROM MONTGOMERY COUNTY SHALL FILE WITH THE MONTGOMERY
COUNTY COUNCIL AND CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER OF
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, NO LATER THAN FIVE DAYS PRIOR TO THE
INITIAL DATE SET FOR INTERVIEW BY THE COUNCIL, THE
STATEMENT SET FORTH IN SUBSECTION (A), FOR THE CALENDAR
YEAR IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE YEAR IN WHICH THE INITIAL
INTERVIEW DATE HAS BEEN SET. EACH APPLICANT FOR
APPOINTMENT AS COMMISSIONER FROM PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY
SHALL FILE WITH THE PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY COUNCIL AND
THE CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER OF PRINCE GEORGE'S
COUNTY, NO LATER THAN FIVE DAYS [[PTIOR]] PRIOR TO THE
INITIAL DATE SET FOR CONFIRMATION HEARING BY THE COUNCIL,
THE STATEMENT SET FORTH IN SUBSECTION (A), FOR THE
CALENDAR YEAR IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE YEAR IN WHICH THE
INITIAL DATE FOR CONFIRMATION HEARING HAS BEEN SET. IF
ANY APPLICANT FOR APPOINTMENT IS NOT APPROVED AS A
COMMISSIONER, THE APPROPRIATE COUNTY COUNCIL AND CHIEF
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER SHALL RETURN TO THE APPLICANT THE
APPLICANT'S STATEMENT AND ALL COPIES OF THE STATEMENT
WITHIN 15 DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF THE FINAL APPROVAL OF
THE APPLICANT OR APPLICANTS TO BE APPOINTED TO THE
COMMISSION.
(D) ALL STATEMENTS FILED PURSUANT TO SUBSECTION
(B) AND OF THOSE APPLICANTS APPROVED PURSUANT TO
SUBSECTION (C) SHALL BE MAINTAINED BY THE SECRETARY OF
STATE, THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE COMMISSION, AND THE
APPROPRIATE CHIEF ([ADMINISTTRATIVE] ] ADMINISTRATIVE
OFFICER AND SHALL BE MADE AVAILABLE BY THEM, DURING
NORMAL OFFICE HOURS, FOR EXAMINATION AND COPYING BY THE
PUBLIC, SUBJECT, HOWEVER, TO SUCH REASONABLE FEES AND
ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES AS THE SECRETARY OF STATE, THE
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, AND THE APPROPRIATE CHIEF
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER MAY ESTABLISH FROM TIME TO TIME.
ALL STATEMENTS SHALL BE RETAINED BY THE SECRETARY Of
STATE AS PUBLIC RECORDS FOR AT LEAST TWO YEARS FROM THE
DATE OF THEIR RECEIPT AND SHALL BE RETAINED BY THE
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE COMMISSION AND BY THE
APPROPRIATE CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES FOR THE ENTIRE
