(C) THE COMMISSION SHALL ANNUALLY EVALUATE THE
ENTIRE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE PROGRAM AND SUBMIT THE
EVALUATION WITH A REPORT TO THE GOVERNOR.

374.

(A)   USING THE GUIDELINES DEVELOPED BY THE
COMMISSION, LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENTS SHALL DEVELOP AND
IMPLEMENT THE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE PROGRAM, FROM DETECTION
TO LONG TERM MANAGEMENT.

(B)    THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND MENTAL HYGIENE
SHALL INCLUDE IN ITS ANNUAL BUDGET AN APPROPRIATE SUM OF
MONEY FOR LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENTS TO IMPLEMENT THE
ENTIRE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE PROGRAM.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Poison Prevention Packaging Act

FOR the purpose of creating a poison prevention packaging
act; providing for certain definitions; providing
for certain rule making powers of the Secretary of
Health and Mental Hygiene concerning packaging of
certain substances; providing for a redress for
aggrieved persons; and generally relating to
packaging and poison.

BY adding to

Article 43 - Health

Section 871, 372, 873 and 874, to be under the new

subtitle, "Maryland Poison Prevention Packaging Act"

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Sections 871, 872, 873 and 874, to be
under the new subtitle, "Maryland Poison Prevention
Packaging Act", be and they are hereby added to Article
43 - Health, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) to read as
