1972 and Chapter 886 of the Laws of 1975 shall be fully
affective as to such project.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 179 of the Acts of
1972, as amended by Chapter 406 of the Acts of 1974, be
and they are hereby waived insofar as they impose a time
for placing under contract the item in Section 5(K)(2) in
said Chapter 179 and found on page 512 of the Laws of
1972, making available $30,000 to the Department of
Maryland State Police for land acquisition and
preparation of preliminary plans and specifications for
Randallstown Barracks. There shall be allowed an
additional period of two years beginning on the effective
date of this Act, for placing the aforementioned project
under contract. The aforementioned items are described
by reference, but every such reference shall be deemed to
include the full description of the item as set forth in
the respective sections of Chapter 179 of the Laws of
1972. There shall be allowed an additional period of two
years beginning on the effective date of this Act, for
placing the aforementioned projects under contract. If
said projects, or any of them shall not have been placed
under contract within a period of two years beginning on
the effective date of this Act, then, as to any such
project not so placed under contract, it shall be deemed
to have been abandoned, and the other provisions of
Section 10 of Chapter 179 of the Laws of 1972 shall be
fully effective as to such project.
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the
provisions of Section 10 of Chapter 289 of the Acts of
1974 be and they are hereby waived insofar as they impose
a time for placing under contract the items in Section
5(A)(3)(a) in said Chapter 289 and found on page 1266
of the Laws of 1974, making available $2,990,000 to the
Board of Public Works for acquisition of sites, design,
construction, and/or purchase of three (3) facilities to
be utilized as District Court Buildings in Baltimore
County; Section 5(B)(3) in said Chapter 289 and found on
page 1267 of the Laws of 1974, making available $178,000
to the Military Department for site improvements and
utilities for the Gunpowder Armory (Baltimore County);
Section 5(C)(1)(a) in said Chapter 289 and found on page
1268 of the Laws of 1974, making available $141,000 to
the Department of Natural Resources for Calvert Cliffs
State Park (Calvert County) for design and preparation of
detailed plans and specifications for construction of day
care area facilities to include swimming pool complex,
roads, parking, park office, comfort stations, shelters,
cliffs interpretative center, pavilion, and cliff
overlooks, and to include renovation of existing barn;
Section 5(C)(5)(b) in said Chapter 289 and found on page
1269 of the Laws of 1974, making available $575,000 to
the Department of Natural Resources for Fort Frederick
State Park (Washington County) for initial design and
construction of support facilities at Ft. Frederick to
include main access road, parking, utilities and
