AN ACT concerning

Montgomery and Prince George's Counties —
Public Service Commission
MC 78-75

FOR the purpose of providing for certain hearings in
Montgomery and Prince George's Counties before the
Public Service Commission.

BY adding to

Article 78 - Public Service Commission Law

Section 82A

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1975 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 82A be and it is hereby added
to Article 78 — Public Service Commission Law, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1975 Replacement Volume and
1975 Supplement) to read as follows:

Article 78 — Public Service Commission Law

82A.

FOR EACH APPLICATION FOR A RATE INCREASE AFFECTING
MONTGOMERY COUNTY OR PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, THE PUBLIC
SERVICE COMMISSION SHALL HOLD AT LEAST ONE HEARING DURING
EVENING HOURS IN THE COUNTY AFFECTED TO RECEIVE PUBLIC
COMMENT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.
