provisions of law.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
does not affect the continuity of any department, board,
commission, council, or agency established and not
abolished prior to the effective date of this Act, July
1, 1976.

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
does not affect the continuity and ratification of
transactions of the Council validly entered into before
the effective date o this Act, July 1, 1976.

SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

St. Mary's County — County Commissioners

FOR the purpose of permitting the County Commissioners of
St. Mary's County to appropriate county funds for
certain purposes under certain conditions;
permitting the County Commissioners of St. Mary's
County to pay certain funds to certain organizations
or agencies; and requiring certain appropriations to
follow the normal budgetary process of St. Mary's
County.

Article 19 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1965 Edition and 1974 Supplement, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 32A be and it is hereby added
to the Public Local Laws of St. Mary's County being
Article 19 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland (1965
Edition and 1974 Supplement, as amended) to read as
follows:
