this Act shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Montgomery County — Alcoholic Beverages License
MC 97-76

FOR the purpose of altering the number of hours during
which the privileges conferred by a certain
alcoholic beverage license may be exercised in
Montgomery County; and clarifying language and
structure.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 85(b) and 102 of Article 2B -
Alcoholic Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and they
are hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

85.

(b) (1) The hours during which the privileges
conferred by a Class B beer, wine and liquor license may
be exercised [shall be] ARE from 6 o'clock a.m. to 2
o'clock a.m. on the day following. [Provided, that]

be as fixed by the mayor, counsellor and aldermen of the
City of Annapolis[, and].
