MARVIN MANDEL, Governor                             1923

SUBSECTION, SHALL BE PERMITTED TO WITHDRAW HIS

ACCUMULATED CONTRIBUTION IN THE TEACHERS' RETIREMENT

SYSTEM. IN THE EVENT A PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE ELECTS NOT

TO BECOME A MEMBER OF THE TEACHERS' RETIREMENT SYSTEM AND
SUBSEQUENTLY BECOMES A MEMBER, HE SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED
TO PURCHASE CREDIT FOR SERVICE PERFORMED PRIOR TO HIS
MEMBERSHIP IN SAID SYSTEM [of this Code].

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Sports Complex Authority — Repeal

FOR the purpose of abolishing the Maryland Sports Complex
Authority; and providing for the disposition of any
remaining revenues and personal property .

BY repealing

Article 41 — Governor—Executive and

Administrative Departments
Section 141 through 152J, inclusive
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1971 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 141 through 152J, inclusive, of
Article 41 — Governor—Executive and Administrative
Departments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and they are
hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That all
appropriations, revenues, and credits on the books,
papers, and accounts and all liabilities and obligations

of the Sports Complex Authority shall be transferred to

and become the appropriations, revenues, credits,

liabilities, and obligations of the State of Maryland and
Baltimore City to be jointly and equally apportioned.
