is held, and may include a chapel or other building of a
parish.

(f)   Churchwarden.

"Churchwarden" shall include an assistant
churchwarden.

(g)   Congregation.

"Congregation" means the whole body of enrolled
members in a parish.

(h) Contributor.

"Contributor" shall include a person who has
performed a service without charge as well as a donor of
money or goods.

(i) Convention.

"Convention" means the governing body of the
diocese, which was created by Chapter 23 of the Acts of
1870, and amendments thereof.

(j) Diocese.

"Diocese" means the Diocese of Easton.

(k) Ecclesiastical authority.

"Ecclesiastical authority" means the bishop or the
standing committee of the diocese if the committee be
canonically authorized to act.

(1) Ecclesiastical matters.

"Ecclesiastical matters" means those matters which
may be and are regulated by the Protestant Episcopal
Church or by its authority.

(m) "Gender".

Words in the masculine may or shall include the
feminine and neuter genders, except as may result from
necessary implication.

(n) Law.

"Law" means statutory law enacted by the General
Assembly of the State, or case law promulgated by
judicial interpretation.

(o) Member of church.

"Member of church" means a baptized person belonging
to a parish or a separate congregation or to the
Protestant Episcopal Church, dependent upon context.
