AN ACT concerning

Corrective Bills — County Commissioners

FOR the purpose of correcting a technical error in the
laws relating to county commissioners.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 25 — County Commissioners

Section 224(c)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1973 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 224(c) of Article 25 - County
Commissioners, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973
Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 25 - County Commissioners

224.

(c) The governing body of any county or municipal
corporation may provide for the issuance of bonds of the
county or municipal corporation, in the manner provided
by law for the issuance of bonds for other purposes, for
the purpose of acquiring water, land and buildings or
other improvements thereon for use as recreation and park
areas and facilities, and for the equipment thereof, and
for the redesign, improvement, construction, development,
and extension thereof. Such bond moneys may also be
expended for any appropriate capital item in cooperation
with other agencies as authorized in §[410F] 227 of this
[subheading] SUBTITLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.
