DISPOSAL SERVICE BUT DOES NOT PROVIDE WATER SERVICE MAY

IMPOSE PENALTIES IN THE SAME MANNER AS PROVIDED FOR LATE

PAYMENT OF WATER IN SECTION 663 OF THIS ARTICLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

[[Western Maryland Regional Mental]] Thomas B.
Finan State Hospital

FOR the purpose of providing for the employment of
certain Allegany County employees in connection with
the [[Western Maryland Regional Mental]] Thomas B.
Finan State Hospital; and relating generally to the
transfer of certain Allegany County employees to the
[[Western Maryland Regional Mental]] Thomas B. Finan
State Hospital.

BY adding to

Article 59 — Mental Hygiene

Section 31 (d)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1972 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 31(d) be and it is hereby
added to Article 59 — Mental Hygiene, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume and 1975
Supplement) to read as follows:

Article 59 — Mental Hygiene

31.

(D) (1) AFTER THE COMPLETION OF THE [[WESTERN
MARYLAND REGIONAL MENTAL]] THOMAS B. FINAN STATE HOSPITAL
IN ALLEGANY COUNTY, ANY EMPLOYEE OF THE ALLEGANY COUNTY
FACILITY KNOWN AS SYLVAN RETREAT WHO DESIRES TO TRANSFER
TO THE [[WESTERN MARYLAND REGIONAL MENTAL]] THOMAS B.
FINAN STATE HOSPITAL AND WHO, WHILE SO EMPLOYED BY THE
COUNTY, APPLIES TO THE SECRETARY 0? THE STATE DEPARTMENT
OF PERSONNEL FOR APPOINTMENT UNDER THE STATE MERIT SYSTEM
