association or corporation engaged in or conducting
racing within the State of Maryland, or hold stock or
bonds therein, or who has any pecuniary interest therein.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

State Police—Overtime

FOR the purpose of [[increasing overtime compensation
which may be paid to certain State law—enforcement

officers]] providing that law—enforcement employees

of the Maryland State Police may be paid overtime in
excess of the maximum allowable yearly amount if
funds are available from certain sources; increasing
the maximum yearly overtime amount allowable for
certain employees; and making style changes.

hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to read
