AN ACT concerning

Queen Anne's County — Animal Control

FOR the purpose of enabling Queen Anne's County to
regulate and control animals in Queen Anne's County;
and generally relating to animal control in Queen
Anne's County.

BY adding to

Article 25 — County Commissioners

Section 3(ii)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1973 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 3(ii) be and it is hereby
added to Article 25 — County Commissioners, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1973 Replacement Volume and
1975 Supplement) to read as follows:

Article 25 — County Commissioners

(II) THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF QUEEN ANNE'S
COUNTY SHALL HAVE THE POWER TO ADOPT, AMEND AND TO
ENFORCE A COMPREHENSIVE ANIMAL CONTROL ORDINANCE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.
