SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Title 5, Subtitle 3 of

Article-Corporations and Associations of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1975 Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and
it is hereby recodified as Part I, "In General," of Title
5, Subtitle 3, of said article.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections
5-301(a) and 5-302(a) of Article-Corporations and
Associations of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1975
Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and they are hereby
repealed and reenacted, with amendments, as follows:

5-301. Definitions.

(a) In this [subtitle] PART the following words
have the meanings indicated.

5-302. Formation and plan of [church] RELIGIOUS
CORPORATION.

(a) The adult members of a church may form a
religious corporation as provided in this [subtitle]
PART.

SECTION 3.         AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new

Sections 5—301(e) and 5—301.1 be and they are hereby
added to Article—Corporations and Associations of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1975 Volume and 1975
Supplement) to read as follows:
