laws relating generally to health,

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 130(h)(6), 259, 291(b)(1), 292(a), 293(c),
294(a)(12) and (d), 317, 323(c), 371,
387C(b)4(viii), 509(a), 521 (c) (4) , 545 (a) ,
546, 565C(a)(9), 606, 638, 782(b),
862(b), (e) and (g)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1971 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 130(h)(6), 259, 291(b)(1),
292(a), 293(c), 294(a) (12) and (d), 317, 323(c), 371,
387C(b)4(viii), 509(a), 521(c)(4), 545(a), 546,
565C(a)(9), 606, 638, 782(b), 862(b), (e) and (g) of
Article 43 — Health, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1971 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement) be and they
are hereby repealed and reenacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

Article 43 - Health

130.

(h) When the Commission has completed its
investigation according to the process outlined herein,
it may reprimand a physician or place him on probation,
revoke or suspend his license, or dismiss the charges
against the physician for any of the causes listed below
as unprofessional conduct:

(6) Addiction to [narcotics] NARCOTICS, habitual
drunkenness or rendering professional services to a
patient if the physician is intoxicated or under the
influence of drugs.

259.

The secretary—treasurer of the said Board and
members of the Board shall receive compensation as
provided in the budget from time to time and shall be
reimbursed for expenses in accordance with the standard
travel regulations. The Board shall have such staff as
provided in the budget. All moneys collected under this
subtitle shall be paid over to the State Treasurer, and
shall become general funds of the State. Such moneys
shall thereafter be disbursed by the Comptroller only
pursuant to an appropriation made in accordance with §§
32 and 52 of Article 3 of the Constitution or pursuant to
the provisions of §§ 1 through 15 inclusive, of Article
15A of this Code, title "Budget and [Procurement] FISCAL
PLANNING," as amended from time to time.
