SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Department of Law — Professional Employees

FOR the purpose of abolishing the title of "Special
Assistant Attorney General"; revising references in
the Code to the Attorney General, deputy attorneys
general, and assistant attorneys general; providing
for a special attorney or counsel to be appointed in
certain instances by the Attorney General; removing
obsolete provisions concerning certain salaries;
removing references to specified special assistant
attorneys general; clarifying the representation of
the State Highway Administration and State Roads
Commission; repealing a provision concerning certain
cooperative action with the federal government;
correcting language and making style changes; and
generally relating to the professional personnel of
the Department of Law.
