AN ACT concerning

Retail Installment - Sales Act

FOR the purpose of increasing the sales amount to which
the Retail Installment Sales Act applies.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Commercial Law
Section 12-601(j)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1975 Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 12-601(j) of Article - Commercial
Law, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1975 Volume and
1975 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
reenacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article — Commercial Law

12-601.

(j) "Goods" means all tangible personal property
which have a cash price of [$5,000] $12,500 or less, but
does not include money or things in action.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

Approved April 1, 1976.

AN ACT concerning

Audiologists and Speech Pathologists

FOR the purpose of specifying requirements for licensure
and renewal of licensure as an audiologist and
speech pathologist; providing for waiver of certain
requirements under certain conditions; authorizing
the Board of Examiners for Audiologists and for
Speech Pathologists to sanction examinations;
providing for posting of licenses and for reporting
of changes of address by licensees; simplifying the
nomenclature of licensing documents and conforming
language to reflect the changes; defining certain
terms; correcting an error and generally clarifying
the provisions relating to audiologists and speech
