this subtitle [shall be] IS guilty of a misdemeanor and
[upon] ON conviction [thereof shall be fined] IS SUBJECT
TO A FINE OF not less than [fifty dollar's nor] $50 AND
NOT more than [two hundred dollars and in default of
payment of such fine shall be imprisoned] $200 OR TO
IMPRISONMENT for not less than [thirty nor] 30 AND NOT
more than [ninety] 90 days. [Such fines, when]

(B)    ANY FINE collected[, are to] SHALL be paid
into the treasury of the State of Maryland.

(C)    Nothing in this subtitle, however, shall be
construed to interfere with doctors of medicine in the
discharge of their professional duties or TO prevent or
restrict the commercial sale or fitting of shoes or foot
appliances.

490.

[The Board of Podiatry Examiners may revoke or
suspend for such period as the Board may determine by
majority vote of its members any certificate which it has
issued and cause the name of the holder to be stricken
from the book of registration by certificate to the clerk
of the court in which the name of the person whose
license is revoked or suspended is registered for any of
the following causes:

(a)    If any person, who, in any affidavit or
examination required of an applicant for examination,
certificate or registration under the laws regulating the
practice of podiatry, shall make a false statement in a
material regard;

(b)    Any person who shall directly or indirectly
allow or permit others than him or herself to practice
under a certificate or license issued to him or her;

(c)    Any person convicted of a crime involving
moral turpitude;

(d)    Any person habitually indulging in the use of
ardent spirits, narcotics, stimulants or any other
substance which impairs intellect and judgment to such an
extent as, in the opinion of the Board of Podiatry
Examiners, to incapacitate such person from the
performance of his professional duties; or who is by
reason of insanity or contagious disease an improper
person to practice podiatry;

(e)    Any person failing to pay his annual license
fee;

(f)    For dishonorable or unprofessional conduct;

(g)    Any person who shall practice under any name
except his own true name as set forth on the license
issued him or her; uses any sign in violation of
