THE BOARD.
(C) (1) AN INDIVIDUAL LICENSED TO PRACTICE
PODIATRY UNDER THIS SUBTITLE MAY DESIGNATE HIMSELF ONLY
AS A "PODIATRIST" AND MAY NOT USE ANY OTHER APPENDED
TITLE.
(2) ONLY AN INDIVIDUAL MAY HOLD A LICENSE TO
PRACTICE PODIATRY, AND HE SHALL PRACTICE ONLY UNDER HIS
TRUE NAME AS SHOWN ON HIS LICENSE. HOWEVER, THIS
PARAGRAPH DOES NOT PROHIBIT ANY GROUP PRACTICE OR
PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION OTHERWISE ALLOWED BY LAW.

(d) (1) A majority of the members of the Board
shall constitute a quorum and elect a [chairman]
PRESIDENT and [secretary] SECRETARY-TREASURER from among
their members.
(2) A member of the Board who is absent
without adequate reason from two successive Board
meetings shall cease to be a member.

The Board [of Podiatry Examiners], for the purpose
of examining applicants [under this subtitle] for a
license to practice podiatry in this State, shall hold AT
LEAST two meetings [in] each year, at [such] THE times
and places as the Board may determine. [Such notice]
NOTICE of the times and places of [such] examinations
shall be given as the Board may deem proper. The Board
may [make and] adopt [such] rules and regulations in
connection with the conduct of its examinations [as may,
in the judgment of the said Board, be necessary] OR to
carry out ANY OF the purposes and provisions of this
subtitle. It shall provide [such] books, blanks and
forms as may be necessary in order to conduct [said]
examinations[,] and shall keep and preserve a complete
record of all of its transactions. [It shall investigate
violations and report same to the State's Attorney of
Baltimore City or the county where violation takes place,
who shall prosecute. No ] A license to practice podiatry
[shall] MAY NOT be granted by the Board unless at least
three members of the Board vote in favor of granting
[such] THE license. All examinations shall be conducted
by the Board in writing, but the Board, in its
discretion, may use supplementary oral and clinical
examination. The examinations shall include only those
subjects taught in the accepted podiatry curriculum.
[After such examination, the] THE Board shall [without
any unnecessary delay] act upon [same, and shall issue a
certificate signed by each member of the Board to the
successful candidates.] ALL EXAMINATIONS PROMPTLY. An
official record of all examinations shall be [spread on]
