SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section [[9(e-2)]] 9C (b-1) be and it
is hereby added to Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1975 Replacement Volume and
1975 Supplement) to read as follows:

Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes

[[(E-2)              FROM STATS, COUNTY, AND CITY TAXATION,

REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE SOUTH CUMBERLAND
BUSINESS AND CIVIC ASSOC, INC. AND KNOWN AS THE SOUTH
CUMBERLAND CIVIC CENTER. THIS EXEMPTION IS IN ADDITION
TO AND NOT IN LIMITATION OF THE EXEMPTIONS PROVIDED IN
SUBSECTION (E) OF THIS SECTION.]]

(B-1) IN ALLEGANY COUNTY, FROM COUNTY AND CITY

ORDINARY TAXATION, THE REAL AND TANGIBLE PERSONAL

PROPERTY OWNED BY THE SOUTH CUMBERLAND BUSINESS AND CIVIC
ASSOCIATION, INC. AND KNOWN AS THE SOUTH CUMBERLAND CIVIC

CENTER.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect January 1, 1977.

Horse Dealers

FOR the purpose of eliminating dual licensing by the
Departments of Agriculture and Licensing and
Regulations of persons who sell, board, or rent
horses; providing for licensing by either of such
Departments; requiring such persons to comply with
the laws of both Departments concerning the sale,
boarding, or rental of horses; and making style
changes.
