Article 101 — Workmen's Compensation

Section 36 (12)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1964 Replacement Volume and 1975 Supplement)

SECTION 1.      BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That     new Section 36(12) be and it is hereby

added to Article   101 - Workmen's Compensation, of the

Annotated Code     of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume and

1975 Supplement)    to read as follows:

Article 101 — Workmen's Compensation

36.

(12) ANY COMPENSATION RECEIVED UNDER THIS ARTICLE
SHALL BE COMPUTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE
SCHEDULE IN THIS SECTION. THE RATE OF COMPENSATION FOR
ANY DISABILITY UNDER THIS SECTION SHALL BE COMPUTED TO
THE NEXT HIGHEST DOLLAR IN ALL CASES IN WHICH THE RATE OF
COMPUTATION RESULTS IN AN UNEVEN AMOUNT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1976.

Work Release Program — Payments to Prisoners

FOR the purpose of extending the time within which the
[[Department]] Division of Correction is required to
pay a prisoner under a work release program at the
time of his release from the jurisdiction of the
[[Department]] Division; and correcting certain
language.
