Senate Bill No. 4 - By Senators Abrams, Smelser, Stone,
Helton, Steinberg, Welcome and Lipin:

AN ACT concerning

Limitations on Residential Rental Fee Increases

FOR the purpose of setting a new automatic expiration
date for those provisions of the law which
generally impose certain limitations on the power of
certain landlords to increase their rental fees
under certain circumstances at certain times;
exempting certain fiduciaries from the limitation on
rent increases; exempting certain county financed
projects; correcting language; providing a certain
case where any county or Baltimore City lav?,
ordinance, or regulation does not supersede this
law; and generally relating to limitations on
residential rental fee increases; and exempting
certain counties from the provisions of this Act.

FOR the purpose of changing the dual purpose commission
into a single purpose commission to be known as The
Commission on Afro-American History and Culture;
renumbering as appropriate; and deleting references
to Indian from the subtitle.
