Att which next Court vizt. ye 24 Day of June Annoq Domi. 1701 ye day
of ye returne of ye returne of Said writt came Elias King high Sherf. of Said County &
made Returne thereof in these words vizt.    Cepi Corpus    Elias King Sherf

But ye Said Thomas Usher by Michael Earle his Attry comes into Court & confesseth
Judgemt. for ye Sume of Two thousand pounds of Tobo. & Cost of Suite

Therefore it is Condered by ye Court here vizt. ye 25. Day of June Annoq Domi. 1701
That ye Said John Whittington doe recover from ye Said Thomas Usher as well ye Sume of
Two thousand pounds of Tobo. debt as alsoe ye Sume of one hundred ninty & five pounds
of Tobo. cost and ye Said Thomas Usher in Mercy                      Jno Dowdall Clk

Comand was given to ye Sherf. of Kent County ye 28 Day of March Annoq Domi. 1701
That he Take John West if found in his bailiwick & him Safe keepe Soe that he have his
bodie before his Majties Justices at ye next Court to Answer unto John Fannin of a
plea of Trespass upon ye Case &a.

Att which next Court vizt. ye 24 Day of June Annoq Domi. 1701 ye Day of ye return[e]
of Said Writt came Elias King high Sherf. of Said County & made returne thereof in
these words vizt.                 Cepi Corpus                 Elias King Sherf

   But ye Said John West Fannin by Richard Macklin his Attry moves ye Court that
ye Said Defendt. John West may be Comitted into ye Sherf. Custody & there to remaine
untill he find Espll. Baile to Said Action       which was granted
Ordered Therefore that ye Sherf. of this County doe Take into his Custody ye bodie of
ye Said Defendt. John West & there to remaine untill he find Espll baile to Said action

And ye Said John West Defendt. comes into Court Together wth. Nathaniel Cleave
his Security & ye Said Nathaniel doth oblidge himselfe to pay condemnacon if in Case ye
Said Defendt. John West be Cast or else he will doe it for him
And ye Said Defendt. John West comes into Court & Confesseth Judgemt. in his proper
person for ye Sume of Twelve hundred pounds of Tobo. & Cost

Therefore it is Considered by ye Court here vizt. ye 25 Day of June annoq Domi.
1701 That ye Said Plaintf. John Fannin doe recover from ye Said Defendt. John
West as well ye Sume of Twelve hundred pounds of Tobo. Debt as alsoe ye Sume
of Two hundred forty & nine pounds of Tobo. Cost of Suite & ye Said John West

Comand was given to ye Sherf. of Kent County ye 23. Day of Febry Annoq Domi. 1700 as
ye Twenty Day of March Annoq Domi. 1701 That he Take Nicholas Clouds otherwise
Called Nicholas Clounds of Said County Gentn. if found in yr. bailiwick & him Safe keepe
Soe that he have his bodie before his Majties Justices at ye next Courts to Answer unto Michll
Earle one of ye Attrys of this Court According to ye liberties & priviledges accustomed in
A plea of Debt                      Att which next Court vizt. ye 25. Day of March
Annoq Domi. 1701 The day of ye returne of first writt came Elias King high Sherf
of Said County & made returne of Said first writt      Non East Inventus    Elias King Sherf
