Which next Court being An Adjourned Court ye precepts warrants and other writts were contd
in ye Sherfs. Custody untill ye Eleventh Day of Febry next Ensuing
On which Said Day Came ye Sherf. of Said County and made returne of Said Writt in these
words    Vizt.                           Cepi Corpus                           Elias King Sherf.
On which Said Day came ye Defendt. Samll. Tovy in his proper person and Confessed
Judgemt. for ye Sume of four hundred pounds of Tobo and Cost of Suite
Therefore it is Considered by ye Court here that ye Said Plaint. Richard Macklin doe
recover from ye Said Defendt. Samll. Toby as well ye Sume of four hundred pounds of Tobo
debt as alsoe ye Sume of one hundred ninty & five pounds of Tobo. Cost of Suite and ye Sd.
Samll. in mercy                                                                        Jno Dowdall Clk

Comand was given to ye Sherf. of Kent County ye Twenty ninth Day of Novemr. Annoq Domi. 1700
that by good and Lawfull men of his bailiwick he make knowne unto William North if found in
his bailiwick Soe that he be & personally Appeare before our Justices at a Court to be held for
our Said County ye fourth Tuesday of Janry next to Shew Cause if any he have why Execution
Should not Issue forth at. him to Satisfie unto Jonas Greenwood as well ye Sume of three
hundred Eighty & four pounds of Tobo. Debt as alsoe ye Sume of five hundred fifty & five
pounds of Tobo. Cost of Suite According to A Judgemt. recovered agt. him before our Justices
Att A Court held for our Said County ye 28. day of Janry Annoq Domi. 1696 of which he
is Convict
Which next Court being An Adjourned Court untill untill ye Eleventh Day of Febry next
On which Said Day Vizt. ye eleventh Day of Febry Annoq Domi. 1700 ye Day of ye
returne of Said writt According to Adjournmt. Came Elias King high Sherf. of Said
County and made returne of Said writt in these words Vizt. made knowne
                                                                                        Elias King Sherf
And ye Said Plaint. by his Said Attry moves ye Court
that Judgt. may be Affirmed for ye Sume of Nine hundred Thirty and nine pounds
of Tobo. and Cost but ye Said Defendt. Wm North neither by himselfe nor any
Attry Appearing to make any Defence Judgt. is awarded for An Execution at.
ye Said Defendt. as well for ye Sume nine hundred Thirty & nine pounds of Tobo.
Debt and Cost of Suite
Therefore it is Considered by ye Court here that ye Said Plaint. Jonas
Greenwood have Execution at. ye Said Defendt. William North as well for ye
Sume of nine hundred Thirty and nine pounds of Tobo. Debt as alsoe ye Sume
of Two hundred and Eleven pounds of Tobo. Cost of Suite and ye Said William

Thomas Tolly alius dictus Thomas Tolly of Kent County Gent. if found in his bailiwick and him
Safe keepe Soe that he have his body before his Majties Justices at [a Court] to be held for Said
County ye fourth Tuesday of Janry next to Answer unto John Atk[ey & Com]a. merchants of
A plea of Debt
which next Court being An Adjourned Court untill ye Eleventh Day of Febry. next all
precepts were Contd in ye Sherfs. Custody untill ye Said Eleventh Day of Febry Afsd.
On which Day Vizt. ye Eleventh Day of Febry Anno Domi. 1700 ye Day of ye returne of Said writt
According to Adjournment Came Elias King high Sherf. of Said County & made returne thereof in these
