Att ye Next Court and his good behaviour in ye Meane time which was by ye Court Granted
Ordered Therefore by this Court that ye Said Jno Bennett be Comitted into ye Sherf. Custody &
there to Remaine Untill he find Suffitient Security for his Appearance at ye Next Court & good
behaviour in ye meane time                                                    Jno Dowdall Clk

Elizabeth Peterson having Entered into Recognizance before John Whittington one of ye
Justices of this Court for her Appearance at this Court & good behaviour in ye meane time now
Appeares                 But ye Clk of ye Indictments desires that ye Said Eliza. Peterson may Enter
into new recognizance for her Appearance at ye Next Court & good abearance in ye meane time
Ordered Therefore by this Court that ye Sherf. of this County doe take into his Custody ye Sd.
Eliza. Peterson & there to remaine untill She find Suffitient Security for her Appearance
here at ye Next Court & good behaviour in ye meane time            Jno Dowdall Clk

William Bateman of Cecill County being bound by Recognizance wth. Suffitent Securitys for his
appearance at this Court & good behaviour in ye Meane While Accordingly Now Appeares
And ye Said William Bateman by Michll. Earle one of ye Attorneys of this Court Moves ye Court
that ye Said William May be Cleared & discharged from ye Said recognizance which was Granted
Therefore Ordered That ye Said William Bateman be Discharged from ye Said Recognizance
noe person Appearing to Charge & Said William wth. any Crime who was accordingly Discharged he

Ordered by this Court that Mary Kenaday be by ye Sherf. Taken to ye whipping post and there
to recieve Tenn lashes upon her baire back well laid on which was accordingly Done

John Bennett being Comitted unto ye Sherf. Custody untill he find Security for his Appearance at ye
next Court & good behaviour in ye Meane while Now appeares Together wth. Majr. Jno Hawkins his
Security And ye Said John Bennett doth acknowledge himselfe to owe & Stand justly Indebted unto
our Severaigne King William ye Third &a. his heires & Successors &a. in ye full & just Sum of
Twenty pounds Sterg and ye Said John Hawkins his Securitie doth Acknowledge himselfe to owe &
Stand justly Indebted unto our Said Soveraigne Lord ye King &a. his heires or Successors &a in ye full
and just Sume of Tenn pounds Sterg. to be leavied upon theire lands & Tenements goods & Chattles
in Case ye Said John Bennett doe not Make his personall Appearance at ye Next Court to be held for
this County & in ye Meane time to be of good behaviour and Abearance to all his Majties Leidge
Subjects wherewith they are Content                                          Jno Dowdall Clk

Now Appeares T[ogether with] John Ponder her Securitie And ye Said Eliza. doth Acknowledge her:
:selfe to owe & S[tand justly i]ndebted unto our Soveraigne Lord King William & Third &a. his heires
or Successors in ye Su[me of Tw]enty pounds Sterg. to be leavied upon her goods & Chattles Lands & tenemts
in Case ye Said Eliza. doe not Make her personall Appearance at ye Next Court & be of good
behaviour & Abearance to his Majties Leidge Subjects in ye Meane while Likewise Came Jno
Ponder Securitie for ye Said Eliza. Peterson and acknowledged himselfe to owe & Stand justly
Indebted unto our Said Soveraigne Lord King Wm ye Third &a. his heires and Successors in ye full
and just Sume of Twenty pounds Sterg. to be leavied as Afsd. Condiconed as Afsd. wherewith they
