Errs    Excepted pr me            Giles Bond & Nathll. Hynson
June ye 9th 1701    Then came before me John Hawkins one of his majties justices

   for ye Province of Maryland ye above Giles Bond & Nathanll.

   Hynson & &a. Deposed upon ye holly Evangelists that ye above acct.

   is Just & True & noe part recd. but there is Creditt given for

                            jurat coram me    Jno Hawkins
   Therefore it is Considered by ye Court here vizt. this 23d. day of Sepr Annoq
Domi. 1701 That ye Said Plaintf. Peregrine Browne doe recover from ye Said Deft.
Edwd. Rush as well ye Sume of five hundred eighty & eight pounds of Tobo. debt due
upon balance of Accts. as alsoe ye. Sume of Two hundred forty & three pounds of Tobo.
cost of Suite & ye Said Edward Rush in Mercy                 Jno Dowdall Clk

Comand was given to ye Sherf. of Kent County ye 25 Day of June Annoq Domi. 1701 that by
good & lawfull men of his bailiwick he make knowne unto John Offley if he Shall be found in his
bailiwick Soe that he be & personally appeare before his Majties Justices at ye next Court to
Shew cause if aney he have why Execution Should not Issue forth against him to Satisfie unto
Richard Bennett & Compa. as well ye Sume of five hundred forty & three pounds of Tobo debt
as alsoe ye Sume of Two hundred & neneteen pounds of Tobo. cost According to A Judgemt. recovered
agt. him before our Justices at a Court held for Said County ye 27 day of Sepr. annoq Domi.

Att which next Court vizt. ye 26. day of Augt. Annoq Domi. 1701 ye day of ye returne of Sd.
writt came Elias King high Sherf. of Said County & made Returne thereof in these words
vizt.    Made known to ye within named John Offley before Christopher Pinder & Jno Hacke[tt]
two good & Lawfull men of my bailiwick as by this writt I am Comanded
                                                             pr            Elias King Sherf
The which cause was continued untill this present and now here at this Day vizt. ye 27 day
of Sepr. Annoq Domi. 1701 came ye Said John Offley in his proper person but Shewing noe
cause &a. the Said Plaintiffs by Richard Macklin theire Attry comes into Court and
prays that ye Said Judgemt. may be Affirmed which was accordingly Granted
Therefore it is considered by ye Court that ye Plaintiffs Richard Bennett & Compa.
have execution against ye Said Defendt. John Offley as well for ye Said Sume of Seaven
hundred Sixty & Two pounds of Tobo. debt & Cost as Aforesd. as alsoe ye Sume of Two hundred
& three pounds of Tobo. cost of Suite & ye Said John Offley in Mercy       Jno Dowdall Clk

Wilkinson alius dictus Robert Wilkson late of Talbott County planter if found in his bailiwick and
him Safe keepe Soe that he his body before his Majties Justices as a Court to be held for
Said County ye fourth Tuesday of Sepr. next to Answer unto John Salter & Bridgett his
wife Exrs. of John Sides of A plea that he rendr. them ye full & just Sume of eight hundred
pounds of good Sound Merchantable leafe Tobo. & Casque which &a.
Att which next Court vizt. ye 27. day of Sepr. Annoq Domi. 1701 ye Day of ye returne
of Said writt came Elias King high Sherf. of Said County & Made returne thereof thus
