89) Maryland sc.t Know all men by these presents that we Philip Key and Uriah Forrest of S.t Mary's County are held and firmly Bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and Just sum of four hundred pounds Gold Currency to be paid to the said State of Maryland To the which payment well and truly to be made and Done We bind ourselves and each of us Our and each of our Heirs executors and Administrators Jointly and severally firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals and Dated this fourteenth day of September Anno Domini One thousand Seven hundred and Eighty one The Condition of the above Obligation is Such that if the above bound Philip Key and Uriah Forrest do and shall well and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto the Treasurer of the Western Shore for the time being the Just and full Sum of fifteen shillings and a penny per Acre for all the Land which Shall be Contained upon an Accurate Survey in Lots N.o 5 & 6 and ten Shillings per Acre for the Contents of Lot N.o 7 on the Plot of Beaverdam Manor in Gold and Silver Rating Milled Dollars at Seven Shillings and other Gold and Silver at the rates mentioned in an Act entitled an Act for the emission of Bills of Credit &c passed May session 1781 or in bills of Credit of the emission of the tenth of May 1781 to the Actual Value thereof in the proportions and on the days following to wit One third part thereof as aforesaid on or before the first day of September 1782 with Legal Interest thereon One third part thereof as aforesaid on or before the first day of September 1783 with Legal Interest thereon and the other Third part thereof as aforesaid on or before the first day of September 1784 with Legal Interest thereon Then the above Obligation to be Void else to Remain in full force and Virtue in Law Signed Sealed & Delivered William Molohor Philip Key (seal) In the presence of Uriah Forrest (seal) Maryland sc.t Know all men by these presents that we Sarah Drury Enoch Fenwick and Samuel Abell Jun.r of Saint Marys County are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full & Just Sum of two hundred pounds Gold Currency to be paid to the said State of Maryland To the which payment well and truly to be made and Done We bind ourselves and each of us Our and each of our Heirs Executors and Administrators Jointly and severally firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals and Dated this fourteenth day of September Anno Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and Eighty one The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above Bound Sarah Drury do and shall well and truly pay or Cause to be paid unto the Treasurer of the Western Shore for the time being the Just & full Sum of eleven shillings and three pence per Acre for the Lot or Tenement marked N.o 18 on the plat made in the year 1768 by Jonathan Abell and the Sum of thirteen Shillings and nine pence per acre for the Lot or Tenement marked N.o 19 on said plat the Contents to be ascertained by Accurate Survey in Gold and Silver Rating Milled Dollars at Seven Shillings and Six pence and other Gold and Silver at the rates mentioned in an Act entitled an Act for the emission of Bills of Credit &c passed May session 1781 or in Bills of Credit of the emission of the tenth May 1781 to the Actual Value thereof in the proportions and on the days following to wit One third part thereof as aforesaid on or before the first day of September 1782 with Legal Interest thereon One third part thereof as aforesaid on or before the first day of September 1783 with Legal Interest thereon and the other Third part thereof as aforesaid on or before the first day of September 1784 with Legal Interest thereon then the above Obligation to be Void else to Remain in full force and Virtue in Law her Signed Sealed & Delivered G Duvall Sarah + Drury (seal) In the presence of mark Enoch Fenwick (seal) Samuel Abell Ju.r (seal) Maryland sc.t Know all men by these presents that We John Realey John Realey Jun.r and John Goddard of Saint Mary's County are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and Just Sum of three hundred pounds Gold Currency to be paid unto the Said State of Maryland To |
