55) Matters and Things whatsoever not herein particularly specified but which shall arise and be incidentally necessary to the full accomplishment of the Business hereby to him committed in as full ample and effectual Manner as the said Thomas Wharton and Isaac Wharton could do the same in person With Power also for the said Richard Sprigg to nominate substitute and appoint one or more Attornies under him for all or any of the purposes aforesaid and them at pleasure to change or Revoke And the said Thomas Wharton and Isaac Wharton Do hereby give and grant to the said Richard Sprigg their full and whole power and Authority in and about the Premises and every part thereof And Do Covenant and Promise that they will ratify and hold firm and valid all and whatsoever the said Richard Sprigg or his Substitutes shall or may lawfully do in the premises by virtue hereof In Witness whereof the said Thomas Wharton and Isaac Wharton have hereto set their hands and Seals this twenty third day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty three Sealed and Delivered Tho Wharton (Seal) in the presence of us Jos Donaldson Isaac Wharton (Seal) Walter Roe W.m Knox Balt.r Town Then came the above named Joseph Donaldson Walter Roe and William Knox before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace for the County of Baltimore in the State of Maryland who being duly sworn on the holy Evangels of Almighty God severally depose and say that they saw the above named Thomas Wharton and Isaac Wharton sign Seal and deliver the aforegoing Letter of Attorney and that they severally subscribed their named thereto as witnesses to the Execution thereof and that the above subscribed names of Joseph Donaldson Walter Roe & W.m Knox are of these Deponents their respective hand writing Sworn before me this 30.th April 1783 Tho.s Russell Baltimore County to wit I hereby Certify that Thomas Russell Esquire before whom the aforesaid Deposition was taken and who hath thereto subscribed his name was on the Day of the date thereof and still is one of the Justices of the peace in and for the County aforesaid and to all Certificates by him given as such due faith and Credit is and ought to be given as well in Courts of Justice as thereout The County In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and Seal of Office this Seal first day of May Seventeen hundred and eighty three William Gibson Clk Balt.o County Recorded 25 June 1783 |
