521) Ex.d & dld This Indenture made this thirtenth day of February one thousand seven hundred and Eighty six Between Martha Carr of Ann Arundel County State of Maryland of the one part and Benjamin Penn of Edward of Montgomery County State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Martha Carr formerly the wife of William Ray Jun.r late of Ann Arundel County Deceased who by his last will and Testament empowered his wife when called upon by the said Benjamin Penn to make over the following Tract or parcel of Land with the appurtenance thereunto belonging therefore the aforesaid Martha Carr for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds Sterlen in hand paid by the said Benjamin Penn The receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the said Martha Carr and herself herewith fully to be satisfied contented and paid and of every part and parcel thereof doth clearly acquit and discharge the said Benjamin Penn his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns and by these presents hath granted Bargained sold Enfeoffed and confirmed unto the said Benjamin Penn his heirs and assigns for ever all that piece or parcel of Land situate lying and being in Montgomery County aforesaid being part of a Tract of Land called Rays Adventure Beginning for the same at the end of the thirty seventh course of the said Land and running thence south seventy eight Degrees East one hundred and Seventy eight perches then south eighty eight perches then south sixty two degrees West thirty nine perches then south forty eight degrees West one hundred and twenty perches then North fifty seven degrees West sixty perches then North twenty degrees West thirty eight perches then North twenty six degrees East eighty eight perches then North thirty four perches then North sixty four Degrees West twenty four perches then with a straight line to the first Beginning containing and now laid out for one hundred and sixty eight Acres of Land be the same more or less Together with all and singular the improvements conveniences benefits and advantages thereon or thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining To have and to hold the said piece or parcel of Land and premises to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Benjamin Penn his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever and to no other use intent or purpose whatsoever and the said Martha Carr doth hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Benjamin Penn that she the said Martha Carr the said piece or parcel of Land and premises with the appurtenances thereunto (belonging) |
