             State of Maryland Sc.t   Know all Men by these presents
       that We Samuel Shekells John Campbell & Adam Craig of Prince Georges County
       are held and firmly bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and just Quantity
       of Forty thousand Pounds of Tobacco to be paid unto the said State of Maryland to the which
       payment well and truly to be made to bind ourselves our Heirs Executors & Administrators
       firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals and dated this fifteenth day of December Anno
       Domini one thousand seven hundred and Eighty five
                                                                                  The Condition of the above
       obligation is such that if the above bound Samuel Shekells Do and shall well and truly
       execute the Office of an Inspector at Bladensburgh Warehouse agreeable to the
       Directions of an Act of Assembly Entitled an Act for the Regulation of the Staple of Tobacco
       untill the first day of November next ensuing the date hereof then the above obligation
       to be void or else to remain in full force and Virtue in Law

                On the back of the aforegoing Bond was thus Endorsed to wit

                I hereby certify that Thomas Owen Williams & Benjamin Berry ^came^ before me the subscriber
       one of the Commissioners of the Tax for Prince Georges County and made Oath that that they were
       presents and saw the within mentioned Samuel Shekells John Campbell & Adam Craig execute
       the within Bond by Signing Sealing and delivering the same  Given under my hand this
       fifteenth day of December Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and Eighty five

       Recorded this 27.th day of January 1786

       William Lydebotham and Thomas Hewitt of Prince Georges County are held and firmly bound
       unto the State of Maryland in the full and just Quantity of Forty Thousand Pounds of Tobacco
       to be paid unto the said State of Maryland To the which payment well & truly to be made  We
       bind ourselves our Heirs Executors & Administrators firmly by these presents Sealed with our
