472) the Line of the said Street called Creigh Street being the second boundary of M.r Absolam Ridgelys Ground and thence with the said Ridgelys second Line to the Water and thence South West and North West with the Water untill a North East Line strikes the Beginning To have and To hold the said piece or parcel of Ground above described and every part thereof with the premisses and Appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said James Williams his Executors Administrators and assigns from the fifteenth day of April last for and during the time and Term and unto the full end and Term of Ninety Nine years from thence next ensuing and fully to be complete and ended Renewable for ever Yielding and paying therefor yearly and every year during the said Term unto the Mayor Recorder Aldermen and common council men of the City of Annapolis and their Successors and Assigns or to such person or persons as they shall appoint the yearly Rent of Fifty six pounds five shillings current money of this State in British Spanish Portugal or French Coin (such as Guineas Doubloons Pistoles Johannes or half Johannes (at six shillings and eight pence current money per penny Weight; or any other foreign Gold coin (German excepted) of the same fineness of Spanish or Portugal Coin at the same Rate or in foreign Silver Coin to wit Spanish Milled Dollars at seven shillings and six pence current money each; or English or French Crowns at eight and four pence current money each or any other foreign coined silver of the same fineness of Spanish Silver Dollars at eight shillings and six pence Current Money per ounce And the said James Williams for himself his Executors Administrators and Assigns Doth hereby covenant promise and agree to and with the said Mayor Recorder Aldermen and common council men of the said City of Annapolis their successors and assigns that the said James Williams his Executors Administrators and Assigns shall and will well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said Mayor Recorder Aldermen and common council men and their successors and to their assigns the yearly Rent aforesaid And the said James Williams for himself his Executors Administrators and assigns Doth further covenant promise and agree to and with the said Mayor Recorder Aldermen and common council men that if the yearly rent above reserved shall be behind or unpaid in whole or in part by the space of three months next after the same shall become due and shall be demanded that then and in such case it shall and may be Lawfull to and for the said Mayor Recorder Aldermen and common council men and their successors and Assigns into the said Demised Premises or any part thereof in the name of the whole to reenter and the same to have again retain repossess and enjoy as in their first and former Estate and the said James Williams his Executors Administrators and assigns and all other occupiers of the premises or any part thereof thereout and from thence utterly to expel put out and amove these presents or any thing herein (contained) |
