             This Indenture made the twelfth day of November one thousand
       seven hundred and Eighty five  Between John Dorsey of Baltimore County
       of the one Part and John Dorsey of the said County of the other Part  Witnesseth
       that the said John Dorsey for and in consideration of the sum of Five thousand
       two hundred Pounds Current Money to him in hand paid before the ensealing
       and delivery of these Presents the the receip whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and
       thereof and therefrom acquit the said Robert Dorsey his heirs Executors and
       Administrators By these presents have given granted Bargained and Sold
       Aliened enfeoffed and confirmed an by these presents do give grant bargain
       Sell enfeoff and confirm unto him the said Robert Dorsey his heirs and assigns
       for ever all his the said John Dorsey right title claim or Interest either in
       Law or equity of in or to all that Land & Property lying and situate in Baltimore
       County on or near Gun Powder Falls which he holds in Company with Charles
       Ridgely John Sterrett Elam Bailey William Goodwin Samuel Chase Benjamin
       Nicholson & Darby Lux and whereon is erected the Forges known by the Name
       of Ridgelys Forges and Furnace formerly called Nottingham Furnace
       together with all the Lands purchased by the said Charles Ridgely & C.o both
       in Baltimore and Ann Arundel County for the use of said Furnace and Forges
       as also all his the said John Dorseys right title claim or Interest of in or to that
       Tract of Land call'd Eppington Forrest  To have and to hold the aforesaid
       Lands Negroes & Stock of every kind to him the said Robert Dorsey his heirs
       & assigns for ever and to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Robert
       Dorsey his heirs and assigns forever  In Witness whereof the said John Dorsey
       hath hereunto sett his hand & affixed his Seale the day and year above written
