                                                                Know all men by these presents that
       we John Haymond Nicholls William Fee James Suter Zadock Dickerson
       Leonard Davis and Henry Brookes are held and firmly bound unto the
       State of Maryland in the full and just sum of Ten thousand pounds
       Current Money to be paid to the said State to the which payment well and
       truly to be made and done we bind our selves and each of us our and every
       of our Heirs Executors and Administrators in the whole and for the whole Jointly
       and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seales and dated this
       seventeenth day of February 1784  
                                                             The Condition of the above obligation
       is such that if the above bound John Haymond Nichols shall well and
       faithfully execute and perform the several Duties required of him as Collector
       of the Tax for Montgomery County according to law then the above obligation to
       be void else to remain in full force

       of Maryland in the full and just sum of one thousand Eight hundred and Ninety
       two pounds Eighteen shilling Current Money to be paid to the said State to the
       which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves and each
       of us our and each of our Heirs Executors and Administrators in the whole and
       for the whole jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our
       seales and dated this Twenty sixth day of August Anno Domini one thousand
       seven hundred and Eighty four

                                                       The Condition of the above obligation is such
       that if the above bound John Haymond Nicholls shall well and faithfully
       execute his office and the Several duties required of him by law and shall well
       and truly account for and pay to the Justices of Montgomery County Court or
