412) of his Estate both real and personal of what kind soever after the decease of his Wife Mary Reynolds who hath since deceased And whereas the said Alexander Trueman hath since the Death of the aforesaid William Reynolds intermarried with the aforesaid Margaret and they the said Alexander Trueman & Margaret Trueman have by Indenture bearing date the eighth day of April Seventeen hundred and Eighty five granted Bargained and Sold aliened remised released and confirmed unto the aforesaid William Faris his Heirs & assigns for ever the parcel of Ground in the said Indenture described & it is the true Intent and Meaning of the parties to these presents that the said Alexander Trueman and Margaret Trueman shall shall warrant and defend the Lot of Ground aforesaid to the said William Faris & his Heirs forever free and clear of all Incumbrances of rent to be hereafter made by them the said Alexander Trueman & Margaret Trueman and all other persons whatsoever and also free and clear from the Legacies in the will of the aforesaid William Reynolds mentioned and clear of any claims or Demands under the said will Now The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Alexander Trueman & Margaret Trueman & their heirs do and shall well and Truly warrant secure and defend the Lot of Ground in the Deed aforesaid mentioned to the aforesaid William Faris & his heirs free and clear from all claims of rent hereafter to be made by ^them^ the aforesaid Alexander & Margaret or any other person or persons and shall also save harmless the aforesaid William Faris & his heirs from all and singular the Legacies under the will of the aforesaid William Reynolds and all claims and Demands whatsoever under said will then the above obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force and Virtue in Law Sealed & Delivered Alexander Trueman (seal) In presence of William Wilkinson Margaretta Trueman (seal) 6½ sides Recorded the 9.th September 1785 Ja.s Trueman (seal) Ex.d & deliv.d This Indenture Made this twentieth day of April Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and Eighty five Between Sarah Chew of Ann Arundel County and State of Maryland of the one part and Lock Chew of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Sarah Chew for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred pounds specie to her in hand paid at and before the ensealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof the said Sarah Chew doth hereby acknowledge hath given granted Bargained sold enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents doth give grant bargain sell enfeoff and confirm unto him the said Lock Chew his Heirs and assigns forever all the following Tracts or parcels of Land Viz part of a Tract of Land called Pascall's purchase and part of Two Tracts called Burrages End and Heaths purchase adjoining each other containing alltogether about eighty five acres situate near Herring Creek in the County aforesaid also part of a Tract of Land called Pagett adjoining the Lands afs.d and containing about one hundred and (Forty) |
