345 and in two Certain Lots of Ground Situate lying and being in the Borough of Wilmington in the State of Delaware with their Appurtenances And Whereas Joseph Hollingshead of the City of Burlington Gent and Susannah his Wife by Indenture of the fifteenth day of March 1758 for the consideration therein mentioned did Grant and Confirm unto the said John Biddle the Quantity of two hundred and Seven Acres of Land Situate in the county of Morris In the Western Division of New Jersey part of a Greater Tract of Eight Hundred and seven acres by Metes and Bounds in the same Indenture mentioned with the appurtenances to hold to him the said John Biddle his Heirs and assigns forever And whereas the said Joseph Hollingshead and Susannah his Wife by one other Indenture of the twenty second Day of November 1773 for the consideration therein mentioned did Grant and Confirm unto the said John Biddle Three hundred Acres other undivided part of the said great Tract of Eight hundred and Seven acres with the appurtenances To hold to him the said John Biddle his Heirs and Assigns forever And whereas the said Joseph Hollingshead and Susannah his Wife by one other Indenture of the twenty of the twenty second day of November 1773 for the Consideration therein mentioned did Grant and confirm unto the said John Biddle all that Certain Tract or Parcel of Land situate in the County of Sussex in the Western Division of New Jersey aforesaid containing by certain Metes and Bounds of Survey therein Particularly mentioned four hundred and seventy seven Acres and allowance for High Ways with the Appurtenances To hold to him the said John Biddle his Heirs and Assigns forever And whereas the said Joseph Hollingshead and Susanna his Wife by one other Indenture of the twenty second day of November 1773 for the Consideration therein mentioned did Grant and Confirm unto the said John Biddle All that Certain other Tract or Parcel of Land situate in the County of Sussex in New Jersey aforesaid containing by Certain Metes and Bounds of Survey therein also Particularly mentioned Five hundred and thirty nine acres with the Appurtenances To hold to him the said John Biddle his Heirs and Assigns forever as in and by the said four last recited Indentures relation being thereunto respectively had will more fully appear And whereas by force and Virtue of the last Will and Testament of George Owen late of the City of Philadelphia Hatter Deceased or of sundry other good Conveyances and (Assurances) |
