344 the next described Lot Northward by other Ground of the said John Biddle which was Granted to him by Isaac Zane herein after described and Westward by Vacant Ground And also of and in a Certain other Lot of Ground Situate at the distance of Two hundred feet from the North side of High Street aforesaid containing in Breadth North and South one hundred and six feet and in length East and West forty two Feet Bounded Southward by the Lots in the Tenure of the said John Capp and Jacob Stein Eastward by the Ground formerly of George Emlon Deceased Northward by the next Described Lot and Westwardly by the last above described Lot being the residue of a Greater Lot Fifty two feet on high street by three hundred and six feet in Depth which the late Proprietaries of Pennsylvania by Patent dated the seventh day of August 1755 Recorded at Philadelphia in Pat book AA Vol 4 pa 153 &c.a Granted unto the said John Biddle in Fee And whereas Isaac Zane by Indenture of the twenty fifth day of August 1768 for the consideration therein mentioned did grant and Confirm unto the said John Biddle his Heirs and Assigns a Certain Lot of Ground Situate on the south side of a certain new Street called Zane Street forty feet Wide leading from Seventh Street to Eighth Street in the City of Philadelphia Containing in Breadth on Zane Street forty six feet and in Length forth six Feet Bounded eastward by Joseph Masous Ground Southward by the ^said^ two last above described Lots Westward with Grounds of George David Sickle and Northward by Zane Street aforesaid together with the appurtenances To hold to him the said John Biddle his Heirs and Assigns forever Paying unto the said Isaac Zane his Heirs and Assigns the yearly Rent or Sum of Five Pounds fifteen shillings Lawful money of Pennsylvania on the twenty fifth day of August in every year for ever thereafter as in and by the said recited Indenture at large appears which last mentioned Lots of Ground are liable to a Claim of Mildred and Roberts of London Merchants for a Mortgage which the said John Biddle made Thereof unto the said Daniel Mildred and John Roberts for Securing unto them the payment of the sum of with its Interest And whereas the said John Biddle now standeth Lawfully seized in his Demesne as of Fee of |
