340 Western Division of New Jersey aforesaid with the Appurtenances To hold to him the said Clement Biddle his Heirs and Assigns forever In pursuance whereof to Wit on the sixth day of February 1782 a Warrant was Granted to the said Clement Biddle for Eleven hundred and twenty five Acres of Land to be surveyed and Located to him in the Western Division of New Jersey aforesaid it being the Remainder due on the said Proprietary rights in the South Dividend As in and by the said Recited Indenture & at large appears And whereas the said Clement Biddle now Standeth lawfully seized of and intitled unto one full Equal and undivided Fourth part of Seven Warrants of Survey each of the Quantity of Three hundred Acres of Land and also of and in Certain Locations or applications for about Eighteen thousand Acres of Land in Company with William Parr Owen Biddle and John Anderson Situate lying and being on the Waters of Mechalbricktitam or Stump Creek Sugar Creek Crooked Creek &c.a and near the Kittaning in the County of Westmoreland in the State of Pennsylvania And whereas the said Clement Biddle now Standeth Lawfully Seized in his Demesne as of Fee of and in one full Equal and undived half part of certain Tracts of Land which were Purchased of Thomas Parr in Company with Jonathan D Sergeant Situate lying and being in the County of Northumberland in the State of Pennsylvania aforesaid which Lands are held by the said Clement Biddle and Jonathan D Sergeant in Fee as Tenants in Common And whereas the Supreme executive Council of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by Deed Poll or Patent bearing Date the seventeenth day of October in the year of our Lord 1781 for the consideration therein mentioned did Grant unto the said Clement Biddle a Certain Tract of Land called "Surry" Situate on the West Side of Monongahela formerly in the County of Cumberland now in the County of Westmoreland Beginning at a White oak marked for a Corner thence by vacant Land North fifty Three degrees West two hundred and twenty Eight Perches to a Sugar Tree marked for a Corner thence by Land of John Biddle North thirty Seven Degrees East two hundred and twenty four Perches to a Corner Post thence by vacant Land South fifty three Degrees East two hundred and twenty Eight Perches to a walnut Tree Marked for a Corner |
