       I Joshua Ogier Notary Publick dwelling in London duly admitted and sworn
       do hereby Certify and attest to and whom it may concern that the right Honorable
       Robert Peckham Esquire before whom the aforegoing Deposition was made is
       Lord Mayor of this City and that to all depositions before him made and by
       him Signed full faith and Credit is and ought to be given In Court and
       thereout Witness my Notarial firm and Seal in London this twenty third
       Day of Aprill in the Year of Our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and
       Eighty four

             By this Publick Instrument of Procuration or Letter of Attorney
       Be it known that on the Twenty first day of April in the Year of our Lord one
       thousand Seven hundred and Eighty four Before me Joshua Ogier Notary Publick
       dwelling on London duly Admitted and Sworn and in the presence of the
       Witnesses herein after named Personally Appeared M.r James Davidson
       of London Nett and Line maker who declared to have made ordained and
       Constituted and by these presents doth make ordain and Constitute Benjamin
       Stoddart and Gabriel Duvall of Annapolis in the Province of Maryland
       in North America Esquires his true and Lawful Attornies giving and by
       these Presents granting unto his said Attornies Jointly and Severally
       full Power and Lawful Authority for him the said constituent in his name
       to his use and on his behalf to ask demand sue for and by these all
       Lawful ways and means whatsoever recover and receive of and from
       M.r Stephen West of Annapolis aforesaid (late Copartner with M.r John
       Hobson late of London Merchant deceased or whom else it shall or may
       concede the sum of two Hundred Pounds Sterling due and owing unto
       him the said Constituent upon and by virtue of his the said Constituents Bill
       of Exchange drawn on them the said West and Hobson and by them accepted
       together with all interest already due and to Grow due thereon and
       for all that shall be recovered and received in the Premisses to give all
       necessary and Sufficient Acquittances and discharges  Also if need be to
       appear before all Lords Judges and Justices in any Court or Courts there to do
       say pursue implead arrest attach and Prosecute as occasion shall be or
                                                                                                    require
