       This Indenture made this 25.th day of December in the Year of our Lord
       One thousand Seven hundred and Eighty four between Renaldo Johnston
       of Prince Georges County Esquire of the one Part and David M.cMechen
       of Baltimore Town of the other part  Witnesseth that the said Renaldo
       Johnson for and in Consideration of the Sum of one hundred Pounds
       Current money to him in hand Paid by the said David McMechen
       before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof
       is hereby Acknowledged hath given Granted Bargained Sold Delivered
       Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents doth give Grant Alien'd
       Sold alien enfeoff and confirm unto the said David McMechen his
       Heirs and Assigns for ever all his Estate Right Title interest and
       Possession Property Claim and Demand either in Law or Equity of
       In and to the following two Lotts of Ground Situate on the East side
       of Jones falls in Baltimore Town aforesaid which was escheated
       for the want of the Heir of Charles Rily deceased which Lotts were
       Distinguished on a Plat of said Town by the number fifty one and
       five hundred and twenty eight together with all Effects Members
       and Appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise Appurtaining
       to have and to hold all and singular the above two described Lotts
       of Ground and Premisses with the Appurtenances to the said David
       McMechen his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper use benefit
       and whereof the said David McMechen his Heirs and Assigns
       for ever and to no other use or Purpose whatsoever in Witness whereof
       the said Parties do hereunto set their hands and seals the day and
       year aforesaid

       Maryland to wit On the 25.th Day of December 1784 personally appeared the within
       named Rinaldo Johnson Parties to the within Indenture before me one of the Judges
       of the General Court for the said State and acknowledged the same to be his Act
