       Seal and Deliver the within Bond

       Know all men by these Presents that we Benjamin Wales & John Baden
       of Prince Georges County Gentlemen are held and firmly Bound unto the State
       of Maryland in the full and Just Quantity of Forty Thousand Pounds of Tobacco
       to be Paid unto the aforesaid State to which Payment well and Truly to be
       and done we bind ourselves and every of us our and every of our Heirs
       Executors and Administrators in the whole and for the whole Jointly and
       Severally firmly by these Presents Sealed with our Seals and Dated this
       18.th Day of September Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and Eighty Four
       The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Benjamin
       do well and faithfully Execute the Office of Inspector at Magruders Ware
       house so far forth as relates to "An Act of the General Assembly Entitled
       An Act for the regulation of the Staple of Tobacco then the above obligation to
       be void Else to be and remain in full force and Virtue in Law

       John Baden Signed Sealed and Acknowledged the within Bond and at their request Signed
       the same as Witness thereto
